I Made 24 Predictions for 2024. 23 Came True. 🧠
The future has a formula
On January 30, 2024, I published an article in which I made 24 predictions for 2024.
Only God knows the future, and as I caveated at the start, the article was written in declaratives, but of course, it was simply a bit of speculative fun. That said, I’m a firm believer that predicting the future has a formula:
Chart the current trajectory if nothing changes + assume things will generally get worse (thanks to human fallenness + the second law of thermodynamics) + assume there will be major surprises that no one can predict. 😂
Clearly, that last factor is the major disruptor. There were loads of things I didn’t see coming from the vantage point of early 2024:
The UK’s third consecutive unelected Conservative Prime Minister inexplicably resigning in the pouring rain
No Islamic terrorist attacks at the Paris Olympics
A Youtuber (Jake Paul) beating up an elderly man (Mike Tyson)
Israel expanding to a multi-front war
Donald Trump surviving assassination by inches
But as for my trajectory-based predictions, as we’ll see today, 23 out of 24 were proved correct.
Let’s dive in:
Prediction #1: We don’t all die in a global nuclear war
I posited that nukes are for Boomers, and no one currently in possession of launch codes has the stomach or suicidality for total global annihilation. I still published an article last year about how to prepare for a nuclear strike, but I’m pleased to see even that hasn’t come to pass.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #2: Healthcare systems spin into a death spiral around the world
I predicted the public would no longer let corrupt politicians blame “Covid” for their managed decline of public healthcare.
And sure enough, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), the average per capita government spending on health fell across all income groups.
(Gotta fund those sweet sweet tax cuts for the rich, remember?!)
Plus, 2024 saw a resurgence of infectious diseases such as measles, mpox, and dengue, partly due to vaccine misinformation.
Meanwhile, who could’ve predicted that an assassin named Luigi would put the fear of God in America’s corrupt healthcare CEOs?
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #3: American taxpayers are forced to pay $1 trillion in interest
By September, Americans had paid $1.05 trillion, and while the total figures aren’t in quite yet, it’s looking like they’ll pay $1.2 trillion in interest in total.
To rich people.
FOR NOTHING.
Plus, corrupt politicians and their bankster backers loaded another $2 trillion on the national debt.
To be paid back with compound interest, of course.
Between 2024’s interest payment and new debt, that was enough money to build a free home for 128 million Americans.
How can ANY person of goodwill vote for anyone who doesn’t vocally oppose the Federal Reserve and fractional reserve banking?
Private money creation must be abolished like slavery.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #4: Inflation still does NOT go away
My best guess was that the corrupt government would quote an official figure of 2.2–2.9%, and sure enough, the lying Fed went with 2.7%.
But actual verifiable price inflation was 3.07%, not including shrinkflation, quality decline, quantity decline, and the transition from goods ownership to goods rentership.
The U.S. median rent alone increased by 5.57%.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #5: Interest rates do NOT plummet
Sure enough:

Prediction #6: The real estate market does NOT crash
I predicted at most a temporary ~10% decrease from Jan 2024 numbers.
From January 2024 to December 2024, the median U.S. house price increased by approximately 2.5%.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #7: American cops kill 1,400 people
We won’t have the final data for a few weeks, but they’re currently on track to kill 1,356 people.
There were only 11 days in 2024 when police didn’t kill someone.
Outcome: Incorrect
Prediction #8: The housing crisis worsens as for-profit land-lorders continue to exploit tenants with impunity
As mentioned, the U.S. median rent increased by 5.57%.
Parasite investors devoured 85,000 homes per month in 2024, plunging another 1.02 million families into feudal rent slavery.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #9: Homelessness continues to rise
Joe Biden’s handlers thought they could decrease homelessness by 25% within two years.
I said they were utterly delusional and that the numbers would actually increase above the current 653,104.
Sadly, homelessness skyrocketed by 18% to an appalling 770,000 souls.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #10: Britain continues its collapse back into feudalism
More than 6 million crimes.
Economy in real recession.
Price inflation rising.
National Health Service stealthily being privatized.
The wicked Windsor “royal” crime family’s Crown Estate reaped a record £1.1 billion in profit off the backs of freezing cold pensioners, mainly from monopolizing and leasing the UK seabed back to the nation for offshore wind projects that are 4X more expensive than the onshore wind projects they banned.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #11: Global debt grows by trillions
We can into 2024 owing $307 trillion.
By May it had already reached $315 trillion.
We paid more than $10 trillion in interest to usurious lenders.
For nothing.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #12: Subscription serfdom takes more territory on the path to you owning nothing
Rent-A-Center started renting fridges and washing machines.
Volvo launched a car subscription service.
Feather started renting furniture.
Grover started renting smartphones and laptops.
Rent the Runway started renting clothes.
Turn something into a rental investment > prices skyrocket > people can’t afford to buy > people have no choice but to rent.
You will own nothing and be happy, remember?
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #13: Airbnb continues to destroy families and communities
Revenue grew by 10% to $3.7 billion.
The platform surpassed 8 million active listings.
Meaning higher home prices and rent prices for all.
And millions of families pushed out of homeownership.
Honestly, if you’re still staying in Airbnbs in 2025 after all the exposés of the past few years, you’re a straight-up evil person.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #14: Global democracy remains in decline for the eighteenth consecutive year
Which is exactly what happened, according to Freedom House.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #15: Donald Trump will try to take office one way or the other
He managed not only to dodge a bullet but a court conviction.
As I’ve been predicting since late 2021, DJT is back for Round #2.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #16: The world’s corporate-captured politicians will do nothing meaningful about climate change
Instead, they spit in the face of future generations and spent tens of millions to fly on private jets to a “climate summit” in Azerbaijan, a country that produces 617,000 barrels of oil per day.
Remember: Politicians don’t work for you, they work for their corporate backers.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #17: New global warming records are shattered
It was the warmest year on record, with global mean surface air temperatures 1.54°C above pre-industrial levels.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #18: Tech monopolies gain ground
Apple’s at $3.8 trillion.
Microsoft is at $3.1 trillion.
Nvidia is at $3.3T.
Google $2.3T.
Amazon $2.3T.
Facebook $1.5T.
Tesla $1.1T.
They will not stop until they own every inch of your life.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #19: Russia and Ukraine will still be at war
Sadly, the meat grinder continues to grind.
787,940 deaths so far.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #20: Israel and her neighbors will still be at war
46,000 deaths so far.
I also predicted that migration from Muslim-majority countries would continue to plague the West and that migration would take center stage in future elections.
This proved true in spades.
There were 290 million migrants in 2024 including 35 million refugees and 68.3 million internally displaced persons, the majority from Islamic countries. Right-wing governments swept into power across Europe.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #21: Suicides reach an all-time high
I guessed 55,000 Americans would commit suicide. Luckily I overshot — but it still reached a record high of nearly 50,000 in 2024.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #22: More people get addicted to pills
As predicted, pharmaceutical drug usage soared in 2024, with overall spending on medicines increased by 9.9%, even when excluding COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics.
Instead of getting people well, American pharma companies now have Americans spending $460 billion per year on pills.
The number of new Americans who started taking prescription medications increased by 3% compared to the previous year.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #23: We WON’T reach the breaking point
No American civil war.
No overthrowing of the British monarchy and aristocracy.
Canadians plan to vote in a corporatist Conservative super-majority.
No year-long general strike.
No nationwide riots.
No revolution.
No democracy.
Outcome: Correct
Prediction #24: Most people find a way to carry on
Astoundingly, despite the engineered homelessess, murder, violence, pollution, suicide, hopelessness, rampant poverty, political corruption, compounding debt, and the corporate economic takeover of the world, 99.99% of the population didn’t kill themselves in 2024.
In fact, we welcomed the birth of 132.41 million new babies, with the global population growth rate slightly increasing versus last year.
There are now 8.2 billion members of the homo sapiens family sharing this collapsing planet.
Outcome: Correct
